SONATRACH and Chevron FEA International Ventures Ltd signed June 13th  a Heads of Agreement at SONATRACH's headquarters. The agreement focuses on developing hydrocarbon resources in the Ahnet and Berkine basins, emphasizing operational efficiency, advanced technological techniques, and environmental sustainability. SONATRACH's CEO highlighted the cooperation as a step towards responsible development of Algeria's hydrocarbon resources. Chevron's Global Exploration Vice President expressed excitement about potential synergies and partnerships, emphasizing Algeria's significant oil and gas potential and Chevron's capabilities in resource development.
