Key Accountabilities:
• Recognize cross-cultural and cross-organizational differences, and promote, develop, and maintain understanding and collaboration among secondees from SONATRACH, PTTEP, Algerian staff, expatriates,
• Contribute to updating, developing, and maintaining effective rules, regulations, and guidelines for budget area.
• Contribute to the preparation of departmental work plan & budget and the effective budget control as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual statistics of comparative cost analysis.
• Key working details include the followings:
• Gather information and coordinate with other departments to setup budget and ensure implementation of
budgeting policy which aligned with the company policy and Operating Agreement
• Gather budget information from each function, analyze and verify deviations from the estimated budget
framework
• Work Program and Budget preparation and submission process
• Prepare the budget summary presentation for approvals from partners (SONATRACH/PTTEP), and authority
(ALNAFT)
• Authorization for expenditure (AFE) approval process
• Monitor budget spending in alignment of the policy, Operating Agreement, and Work Program Budget
• Provide advice to cost controllers to perform their works to support the project’s works
• Provide supports related to finance and accounting works and accounting analysis reports for
monthly/quarterly/annual performance review
• Conduct budget works to ensure smooth working process and in compliance with effective and efficient
business processes / systems using established policies and procedures.
• Setup, update, and develop the accounting and finance strategies in compliance with strategic accounting
direction e.g., design and setup new master data and structure, develop allocation concept etc.
• Implementation of SAP S/4HANA system for FI/CO modules and the related functions
• Consultation on Procurement related matters

Professional Knowledge & Experience: 

• Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting works in petroleum business - minimum of 5 Years 

• Good Communication in English and French 

• Good analytical skill 

• Good skill in excel Additional Desirable Qualifications: 

• Experience in SAP
